		<summary type="html">&lt;p&gt;The Government announced the &lt;em&gt;Protecting Victoria’s Vulnerable Children Inquiry&lt;/em&gt; on 31 January 2011.&amp;nbsp; The Inquiry was tasked with investigating systemic problems in Victoria’s child protection system and making recommendations to strengthen and improve the protection and support of vulnerable young Victorians.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Inquiry Panel, comprised of the Honourable Philip Cummins, Professor Emeritus Dorothy Scott OAM and Mr Bill Scales AO presented its Report to the Minister for Community Services on 27 January 2012.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Inquiry acknowledges the contributions of the many individuals and organisations that provided information and assistance.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Inquiry has now concluded and has ceased operations.&lt;/p&gt;
